Krytox\u00ae GPL226 grease (with corrosion protection) consists of PFPE as the base oil and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the functional thickener. PTFE, also marketed by DuPont\u00ae under the brand name Teflon\u00ae, is a thermally very stable dry lubricant with exceptional properties. In addition to its thickening effect, the PTFE used ensures greater stability and safety thanks to additional emergency running properties.<\/p>\n
The greases in the Krytox\u00ae series are highly resistant to temperature and pressure. They are non-flammable and non-combustible, oxygen-compatible, and resistant to aggressive chemicals. They are extremely effective because they are extremely stable and resilient. Compared to conventional lubricants, they offer a significantly longer service life.<\/p>\n
This grease contains special anti-corrosion additives, making it suitable for use in damp or wet environments where there is an increased risk of corrosion. Typical applications include bearing lubrication in vehicles, pumps, electric motors, and other industrial areas.<\/p>\n
